Directions for Local Families:

  • From Jacksonville: Take J. Turner Butler Blvd (JTB) east to A1A South. After the exit, continue south and we are just 10 minutes down the road near the Publix.
  • From Nocatee: Take Nocatee Parkway east to A1A North. We are a short 10-minute drive northbound, past the Mickler’s Landing roundabout.
  • From St. Augustine: Head north on A1A through the Guana Reserve. We are located just past the Sawgrass Marriott.

Families travel to Milestones from across Florida and the Southeast because they cannot wait 12–18 months for an evaluation at a major hospital.

We offer a Concierge Evaluation Track designed specifically for out-of-town families. This streamlined process allows you and your family to get the “Gold Standard” answers you need without multiple trips.

How It Works:

  1. Virtual Intake: Before you travel, contact Milestones to engage our team. Our psychologist will conduct a comprehensive clinical interview via secure video call to plan the testing battery.
  2. The Visit (48–72 Hours): You fly in for 2–3 days. We conduct all necessary in-person testing (IQ, ADOS-2, Academic Achievement) in a condensed, child-friendly schedule.
  3. The Result: You leave with a preliminary feedback session, followed by a comprehensive written report delivered shortly after you return home.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Do I need a referral to schedule? No. As a private practice, you do not need a referral from a pediatrician to book an appointment. This allows you to bypass insurance delays and get seen faster.

Do you take insurance? We are a proud provider of TriCare Insurance. For all other insurance providers, we offer cash pay options and will provide a “Superbill” (a medical receipt) that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. This model allows us to spend more time with your family and use the best tests for your child, not just the ones an insurance algorithm approves. See here for more information.

What areas do you serve? While our physical office is in Ponte Vedra Beach, we regularly serve families from:

  • St. Johns County: Nocatee, St. Augustine, World Golf Village, Julington Creek.
  • Duval County: Jacksonville, San Marco, Riverside, Atlantic Beach.
  • Nassau County: Fernandina Beach, Yulee.
  • Clay County: Orange Park, Fleming Island.

Do you visit the schools? Yes, we can attend IEP meetings and conduct observations at local St. Johns County schools.

My child attends private school (e.g., Bolles, Palmer). Can you help? Yes, private schools often accept our evaluations to create “Learning Plans.”
